About Hounds From Hell Dog Training and Rehabilitation

What they offer

Hounds From Hell Dog Training and Rehabilitation is located in Tieton and serves the Yakima Valley and surrounding areas. Owner and head trainer Karina Espinoza grew up around German Shepherds and Belgian Malinois and started the business in 2018. Training is designed to educate both ends of the leash, and plans are personalized to the owner's time, budget and the dog's needs.

Programs

The business specializes in severe behavioral issues and also works with puppies, therapy dogs and some psychiatric service dogs. Off-leash obedience and training dogs to behave around livestock are specialties. Work starts with an evaluation where the trainer comes to the owner, followed by a structured lesson plan. Doggie boot camp has the dog stay with the trainer for four to eight weeks of in-depth work on behavior, obedience, socialization, mindset, tools and management, with daily videos and report cards and two follow-up lessons; a four-week puppy camp works the same way for young dogs. Private lessons are also offered. Email is the preferred way to get in touch.

How she trains

The site describes a balanced approach adapted to each dog's personality. Karina also works with local rescues and runs a foster program for rehabilitating dogs.
