About MalX Core K9

What they offer

MalX Core K9 is a professional dog training service headquartered in Hoquiam and serving the Pacific Northwest. Its training is rooted in working-dog foundations while adapting to each dog, from family companions to high-drive breeds and working professionals.

Programs

Obedience training starts with engagement, impulse control, leash manners, environmental confidence and clear handler communication, then builds toward reliable responses on and off leash under real-world distraction. Detection and scent work foundations develop odor recognition and search patterns. Drive control and structured development programs channel a dog's energy productively rather than suppressing it. Puppy and private classes are also offered.

Approach

The trainer describes obedience as clarity, structure and communication rather than force or constant correction. Training evaluations and program enrollment start through the contact form.
