About Wanderlust Canine Services

Tailored training in Castleton

Wanderlust Canine Services is a dog training and daycare business in Castleton, on Route 4 West. Its trainer, Erynn, is a Vermont native with years of animal care experience across veterinary settings, training, boarding, daycare, grooming and retail. Her philosophy is that a trainer must adapt methods and techniques to every individual dog and family, and training plans change as goals change.

Training and prices

Training always starts with private classes, then moves to public places or group classes once a foundation is in place. A private class at the Castleton facility is $100, in-home and public private classes within 30 minutes are $125, and group classes are $35 per dog, limited to 4 dogs in winter and 6 in summer, for dogs that have had private classes within the past 6 months. Take & Train sessions are $75 per hour, and a Take & Train Intensive runs Tuesday to Friday mornings at $100 per hour with a two-week minimum. The daycare follows a play, work and rest rotation with holistic socialization and training.

What owners say
