About Coteau Prairie Kennels

What they offer

Coteau Prairie Kennels is a small family-owned kennel in Menoken, on the outskirts of Bismarck. It breeds British and Irish Labradors for hunting and family homes and provides gundog training for upland and waterfowl hunters, as well as dog boarding.

Training

The kennel offers obedience, upland and waterfowl training. Its gundog training focuses on building strong instincts and the natural abilities of each dog, using game birds including pigeons, chukars, quail, ducks and pheasants for a realistic training environment. The work develops pointing, flushing, retrieving and steadiness.

Other services

The kennel also helps clients import Labradors from the UK or Ireland, including puppies, started and finished dogs, and offers dog boarding. Contact the kennel for details of the training program.
