Bed N Biscuit Ranch is a pet care ranch on 80th Street NE in Bismarck that offers training alongside boarding, daycare and grooming. It offers training for everyone from puppies all the way to off-leash obedience, and every training client starts with a free evaluation to choose a program.

Training programs

Private lessons at the facility teach owners how to train their dog for obedience commands and handle unwanted behaviors, with home practice expected between lessons. Board-and-train programs include a two-week basic on-leash obedience program and a three-week basic off-leash program, each followed by private lessons for the owner. A four-week behavior modification program addresses socialization, confidence building and animal or people related aggression. Training blocks are a more affordable option: the dog comes two days a week for three weeks.

Group classes

Group classes include a puppy class for puppies 8 weeks to 7 months, an advanced obedience class built on drills and friendly competition, and an AKC Canine Good Citizen class held in public places. Classes use positive reinforcement with treats, and commands are reinforced with corrections that can include prong collars and e-collars.
