Elevate Canine Academy is a dog training business with facilities in Bismarck and Fargo, North Dakota; its Bismarck facility is on Airway Avenue. It describes itself as locally owned and operated since 2019 and works with everyday obedience as well as dogs that are reactive, aggressive or struggling with anxiety.

Day training programs

The core programs are day training: the dog comes to the facility during the day and goes home each evening. The two-week program covers walking nicely beside the handler, sit, down, stay, place and leave it, along with jumping, excessive barking, reactivity and aggression, and owners get a daily rundown, homework and a one-on-one session to practice under a trainer's guidance. The three-week program adds time for proofing and for more intense issues such as resource guarding, aggression, anxiety and reactivity. As training progresses, dogs are taken to stores and other public places.

Classes and sports

A puppy group class serves puppies aged 10 to 17 weeks, and social groups give trained dogs practice around other dogs. Sport classes include agility and tricks, advanced obedience, scent detection, summer tracking and a play-based grip foundations class that the academy says does not include real-world protection or guard dog training. Online training programs are offered for owners who live farther away.
