About Partners in Canine
What they offer
Partners in Canine is a training-focused school for dogs in the North Windham Shopping Plaza. Instead of a traditional daycare, it runs structured school days that mix individualized training sessions with curated social groups.
School days
School days are customizable. Shy or young dogs work on confidence and discovering their play style, exuberant dogs practice impulse control and guided energy management, and dogs enrolled in a training program get individualized sessions to reinforce their skills. The day alternates playgroups, training rotations and structured rest.
Courses
A four-week course for puppies from eight weeks to four months focuses on socialization and basic obedience. A five-week course for dogs five months and older covers reliable obedience, polite behavior around people and dogs, problem behaviors and loose-leash walking. Owners get videos of their dog's training and weekly lessons on an online learning platform, and past and current students can join outings to practice skills in real-life settings.
