About Detector Dog North East
What they offer
Detector Dog North East is a small, one-man kennel and training business in Windham, run by a trainer who spent 35 years in law enforcement working with Belgian Malinois and has supplied dogs for police, search and rescue and detection work. It specializes in training family protection dogs and also sells Dutch Shepherds and Malinois.
Training
The business offers classes for puppies and adults, AKC Canine Good Citizen testing, private sessions for reactive dogs, board and train sessions and e-collar training. Behavior consultations are the starting point for problems such as house-soiling, aggressive behavior, separation anxiety, barking at strangers and cat chasing. Protection dogs in training live with adults, children and other pets so they are ready for family life.
Other services
The owner runs a protection sports group that trains and competes in PSA, and the kennel offers boarding and help importing a dog.
