About Pawsitive Canine Care & Training LLC

What they offer

Pawsitive Canine Care & Training is a full-service training facility in Windham opened in 2018 by two Certified Professional Dog Trainers. It offers group classes, seminars and workshops, private sessions and day training programs, and boards dogs overnight only for its day-training clients.

Group classes

Classes include a puppy jump start for young puppies (name recognition, nipping, sit, down, stay, potty training), an adolescent class for jumping, pulling, recall and loose-leash walking, a family dog manners class, and a focus class for dogs that struggle around distractions. Two classes require a consultation first: one for dogs that are reactive toward people or other dogs, built on counter conditioning, and one for dogs that are nervous around people, dogs or new places.

Private sessions

One-on-one private sessions are available at the facility or in the owner's home, from basic obedience, puppy foundations, potty training, recall and Canine Good Citizen work to behavior modification for more challenging behavior. A short consultation helps owners pick the right service.

Method

The trainers use up-to-date positive reinforcement training.
