About Cosmic Dog Training & Boarding

Positive training and boarding in Moodus

Cosmic Dog Training & Boarding is a dog training and boarding business on Falls Road in Moodus, owned and operated by an accomplished service dog trainer. It offers positive training in a private, climate-controlled training studio, one on one training in your home, and boarding in which dogs share the same home experience as the team's own dogs.

Services

Training covers all breeds and life stages, with service dog task training, therapy dog test preparation, problem behavior modification, puppy basics, adult obedience, competition nose work and agility equipment, plus a dig-proof fenced yard. Cosmic Dog works to provide low-cost and no-cost training to service and therapy dogs in the community, and donates a portion of proceeds each month to OneSimpleWish.org.

The team

Howie has been a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CCPDT-KA) for 9 years, with experience training service dogs, search and rescue dogs, law enforcement dual purpose dogs, therapy dogs, trick dogs and family pets. Kara also holds the CCPDT-KA, and assistant trainer Nathan helps with private lessons, board and train and classes. Howie or manager Andre is with the dogs at all times, including overnight.
