About Central Bark Danbury

Whole Dog Care in Danbury

Central Bark Danbury is a dog day care, grooming, boarding and training location at 55 Kenosia Avenue in Danbury. Its Whole Dog Care approach centers on Enrichment Dog Day Care, with small playgroups based on size, temperament and playstyle, routine schedules and trained enrichment specialists.

Training

Central Bark trains with force-free, positive reinforcement methods. Trainers offer classes for puppies and adult dogs, from basic obedience to more advanced skills, and training can also be built into day care so dogs learn through play, enrichment and structure. Individualized sessions are available.

Puppy Hour and other services

The free Puppy Hour is a supervised play session for puppies 8 to 16 weeks old, with training tips for owners. The location also offers boarding with individualized care and a grooming salon using positive handling techniques.

What owners say

One owner wrote that weekly visits helped her anxious seven-year-old dog, who "is excited to get in the car and go every week!"
