About Cassio Pet Resort & Training Center – Newtown, CT

Resort care with a training program

Cassio Pet Resort & Training Center is a full-service pet facility at 173 Mount Pleasant Road in Newtown, open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas. It offers individual dog accommodations with indoor and outdoor exercise areas, a separate quiet room for cats, and personalized boarding and day stays with add-on services.

Training

Cassio offers a variety of training, conformation and water sports for all levels. Owners can choose group dog classes, private lessons in their home, or training while their dog boards. Rally classes are part of the lineup, and Cassio congratulates teams that have recently earned new Rally titles. Seasonal training sessions, swimming and other fun activities run through the year.

More services

A full-service grooming salon handles everything from nail trims to complete grooms. The Play Yard is a clean, large fenced area with Natura grass, described as especially good exercise space for a reactive dog.

What owners say

One client wrote that their new puppy "was enrolled in the puppy and the obedience classes, and we both learned so much."
