About My Dog Training Center LLC

Obedience and agility in Putnam

My Dog Training Center, LLC is a dog training center at 184 Providence Pike in Putnam, about a mile from I-395 exit 47 on Route 44. Owner and founder Lisa Antonucci has formally trained dogs her entire adult life. After three years of veterinary studies she chose to work with dogs full time, stepping away only briefly to coach people in the corporate human resources world.

Approach

Lisa's goal is a place where any dog can reach its full potential regardless of breed, size, age, temperament or the owner's ability. She found early on that treating dogs and their humans with kindness and respect gets better results than forcing compliance, and she focuses on helping owners understand what to expect of their dogs before coaching them toward it.

Training

The center offers obedience and agility training for everyone from owners wanting a polite companion to those aiming for agility runs, polished obedience routines or the show ring. Training runs Monday to Saturday by appointment.
