About One Companion Dog Training
Private training in Massapequa Park
One Companion Dog Training is based in Massapequa Park. Its mission is to help anyone who welcomes a dog home have "a true canine companion", and to leave owners with an understanding of training that frees them "from ever needing another trainer again." The site invites visitors to contact Mike.
Services
Puppy Manners Foundation builds fundamental skills and explains how dogs learn. Obedience training teaches sit, stay, place, come and leave it, along with the methods and tools behind them. Walking lessons work on mastering the walk so your dog stays right at your side, and behavior modification addresses aggression, anxiety and leash reactivity. E-collar training teaches the tool as "a wireless leash" for an off-leash lifestyle. Monthly tune-ups give one private session a month, and virtual sessions cover quick Q&A and problem-solving. A wedding day dog handler service brings your dog to the venue and handles it during the event.
Pricing
For one dog, a single session is $170, three sessions $480 and five sessions $725; two-dog rates are $340, $960 and $1,450. A $20 travel fee may apply depending on location. Virtual training is $45 per half hour or $90 per hour, monthly maintenance is $100 a month, and the wedding service is $500 for 3 hours plus $85 per added hour.
