Beachwood K9 is a dog training business in Lakewood that describes itself as Long Beach and Lakewood's dog training, with the goal of taking owners from chaos to calm with their dog. The owner and trainer came to training through her own reactive dog and works in a balanced style.

Programs

The private lesson package is four one-on-one lessons where the owner works with the dog in the home on problems like counter surfing, chewing, door bolting and jumping on guests, plus leash training and sit, down and place. The board and train program runs three weeks and takes dogs into the real world to get comfortable around people, dogs and new places, with public-access training, two go-home sessions (the last one at the owner's house), an owner's manual and ongoing support.
