The Pet Set is an indoor and outdoor dog daycare, pet hotel, grooming and dog obedience training facility on Cherry Avenue in Long Beach, with separate play areas for small and large dogs. It began as an in-home pet sitting business and grew into a full facility.

Training

Its training program, TrainMyDog by Pet Set, includes daycare with training, where dogs work on sit, stay, come, heel, down, housebreaking and problem behaviors during their day, a puppy program for dogs six months and under, a board and train program, and private one-on-one sessions in the owner's home. The staff trainer works on obedience on and off leash, and advanced and off-leash training are available.

The program describes a balanced approach focused on practical skills such as leash manners, reliable obedience and impulse control, and coaches owners throughout.
