Positive training from a certified trainer

Happy Planet Petcare is a Washington, DC dog training and petcare business run by Lily Elliot, a Certified Professional Dog Trainer – KA, and it says it has been helping owners since 2014. Lily began training dogs professionally in 2015 after working with the Washington Humane Society, has taught more than 300 hours of private and group lessons, and earned her CPDT-KA in 2018. Her own reactive puppy, Bella, inspired the business, and she has a particular interest in reactive and anxious dogs.

Services

Training uses positive, rewards-based methods and is offered in person or remotely. Options include puppy and adult-dog basic training, behavior-related intensive coaching, "Hey Pup, Chill" for exuberant dogs, group training, and an Online Dog-Training Academy with on-demand courses. Lily travels to lessons by bicycle and trains across Washington, DC, and in Maryland communities including Silver Spring, Mount Rainier, Bethesda, and Rockville.
