About Nutty Pups Canine Club

Daycare, boarding and training in Alexandria

Nutty Pups Canine Club describes itself as a hands-on canine care company serving families throughout Alexandria, Arlington and Washington, DC. Alongside structured daycare, enrichment outings and overnight boarding, it runs a training program led by a co-owner who is described on the site as an ABC Certified Dog Trainer.

Training programs

The training page lists private one-on-one training (six personalized sessions with a training guide and book), a two-week puppy board and train for dogs of four to six months focused on socialization, desensitization and confidence, and an adult two-week board and train. Longer three- and four-week board-and-train stays add distraction work and proofing, and the four-week program is described as aimed at off-leash reliability. Prices are published on the page.

Approach

The site calls its training positive and balanced, built on consistency, clarity and real-world practice at home and beyond. New clients start with a meet and greet, and the site mentions pickup and drop-off and photo updates for its care services.

What to ask

Ask which board-and-train length fits your dog's age and goals, what follow-up comes after graduation, and whether pickup covers your neighborhood.
