About BAK9RATitudes

About

BAK9RATitudes is dedicated to the dog sport of barn hunt, which simulates traditional farm vermin hunting in a safe, controlled setting using hay bales, obstacles and tubes with safely enclosed rats. The sport is open to all breeds and mixed breeds and to every experience level of dog and handler.

Instruction

Workshops cover an introduction to the sport, dog behavior and instincts, rat introduction and desensitization, working the course, handler skills and communication, mock runs and troubleshooting. Private or semi-private lessons of 30 or 60 minutes are available by appointment, helping teams progress through the Novice, Open, Senior and Master competition levels.
