What they offer

Confident K9 Training is run by Trina Carr, an IACP certified dog trainer, and serves the Shasta County area, including Redding, Bella Vista, Shasta Lake, Palo Cedro, Anderson, Cottonwood and Red Bluff. An in-home consultation is required for every program.

Programs

A house manners program is usually done in about six private lessons in your home, covering sit, down, place and come on leash. Board and train options include a two-week stay with private lessons at home afterwards and a three-week program that works on commands such as sit, come, down, place and wait and on problems like barking, jumping, leash pulling and counter surfing, with the aim of a dog that also listens off leash and around distractions. Every program ends with a going-home lesson.
