J&J Dog Training focuses on practical obedience and real-world reliability at home, on walks and in public. Private sessions of one hour take place in your home or a local spot where the dog struggles and work on leash pulling, reactivity, jumping and engagement. Daily training brings the trainer to your house Monday through Friday for one-hour sessions over several weeks.

Board and train

In board and train the dog lives and trains with the trainer, working on obedience, communication and off-leash reliability, paired with owner education and follow-up.

Approach

A big part of the work is helping dogs earn off-leash freedom through responsible e-collar use, and owners are taught how to use the tool if it is part of the program.
