About Follow My Lead

All-breed training in Hernando County

Follow My Lead, LLC is a dog training business in Brooksville run by Laura M. Trumpold, providing beginner to advanced training since 2018. It also raises AKC Great Dane puppies. Programs are built for family dogs and service dogs, with a focus on consistency, clear communication and off-leash reliability, in person or through remote coaching over Zoom.

Programs

Training options include puppy training, adult dog obedience, in-home private training, the Canine Good Citizen program, agility and balance park training, service dog training, off-leash training, behavioral training for aggression, selective puppy board and train, and distance learning. Group offerings include the Sidekick Social Club and an AKC Fit Dog structured pack walk, and dogs can earn AKC Trick Dog titles. Laura describes expert-level experience training public access skills for mobility service dogs, psychiatric service dogs and therapy dogs, and helps with reactivity and aggression.

Approach

Training runs as structured programs with clear progression from foundations to advanced off-leash reliability, often in the client's home with the whole family, and includes e-collar work for off-leash training. Follow My Lead also connects veterans with Sierra Delta grants.
