About A New Beginning Dog Training

What they offer

A New Beginning Dog Training is run by Estie Schmid, a trainer based in Shelton who takes clients from Shelton, Olympia and Aberdeen. The specialty is puppy training, getting puppies off on the right foot because the habits learned young carry into adulthood.

Packages

There is a puppy education package, covering everything from potty training to biting, chewing and barking, and an adult manners package for older dogs. Estie comes to the client's home, and sessions can be held in the yard, garage or driveway.

Approach

The training follows the methods of Dr. Ian Dunbar, a pioneer of puppy classes, with an emphasis on ethical methods and patience.
