About Adventure K9 LLC

What they offer

Adventure K9 trains pet dogs for the whole family in Erie, Broomfield, Lafayette and surrounding areas. The home page lists the problems it helps with: dogs with no manners, pulling on the leash, not settling, bolting out the front door, needing an outlet for energy, and children who want to learn to interact better with the family dog. The site also has a group classes page.

How they train

All core programs take place in the client's home, with handouts and additional learning resources. The owner, Sam Ward, says she shows owners how to reward and shape the behaviors they want and how to fairly correct the ones they want to stop.

About the trainer

The about page describes Sam as an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator and a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals, in Colorado since 2018. New clients start with a free 30-minute phone consult.
