About Marta’s Dog Training & Coaching, LLC.

What they offer

Marta's Dog Training & Coaching serves the area around Lafayette, Colorado, with relationship-based training and behavior modification. Private lessons last 60 minutes and are held at home, covering basic obedience and manners, reactivity, advanced obedience and off-leash training, and confidence building. Virtual sessions are also available.

Day training and hikes

For busy owners there is a day train option: Marta picks up the dog, trains and exercises it, drops it off and gives go-home instructions. Dogs that have finished training or passed an evaluation can join pack hikes with well-trained companions, or use dog walking services.

How they train

Marta describes herself as a balanced trainer whose method is to show the dog a clear picture of what is wanted and what is not, and she treats play and genetic fulfillment as essential parts of training.

About the trainer

The about page says she started training dogs as a child through 4-H and dog agility in Wisconsin, worked as a veterinary assistant, and moved to Colorado after graduating in Minnesota. The site gives an email address for questions and scheduling.
