About Alabama Dog Trainer
What they offer
Alabama Dog Trainer runs board-and-train programs on its farm and private lessons in your home or on the farm. The Services page lists a puppy kindergarten program for puppies from 3 to 9 months covering socialization, basic commands, crate and potty training and nipping, and adult programs of increasing length: a foundation obedience program, a longer program that can include e-collar work, a public-access program that practices skills in stores and parks, and an off-leash program using e-collars.
Problems it works on
The home page lists leash pulling, jumping on guests, not coming when called, counter surfing, rushing out doors, excessive barking or digging, crate and potty training, and fear, anxiety and aggression, among others.
Who trains here
The About page introduces two trainers. It says Brad has worked with dogs since 2002 and lists CDT, CDTA and PDTI credentials, AKC Evaluator status and former board and vice-president roles with the IACP. It says Lyndsey became an Animal Behavior College certified trainer in 2019. These are the site's own claims.
Good to know
The site says training is by appointment only and that follow-ups and owner coaching are included in its board-and-train programs.
