About All Breed Dog Training

In-home training since 1972

All Breed Dog Training serves Port Charlotte and nearby areas with individual in-home training for dogs of all sizes, ages and breeds. Owner and founder Richard Picone has been training dogs and their owners since 1972, and the company credits him with over 50 years of experience, including work with government agencies such as the Justice Department and the DEA and with law enforcement departments.

How lessons work

Each program is tailor fit, and every client is assigned a qualified trainer. In each lesson the trainer gets a response from the dog first and then coaches the owner to get the same response, and owners practice daily between lessons. Pricing is based on what the dog will learn rather than per lesson, so extra lessons carry no added charge, and customers get free phone support during their program.

Services

Programs cover puppy training with gentle methods, housebreaking, on- and off-leash obedience with hand signals (heel, automatic sit, sit-stay, down-stay, come and a release command), property boundaries, behavior problems and management systems for homes with working owners, guests, children and newborns. Owners outside Punta Gorda, Port Charlotte, North Port and Englewood can book phone consultations with Richard at $60 per half-hour or $85 per hour.
