About All Good Dogs – K9 Training LLC

All Good Dogs – K9 Training LLC is a Greensboro dog trainer working from an address on Fox Hunt Drive and delivering training in clients' homes. The business is run by Mike Holian, who is named throughout the site, and it states 20 years of experience and registration as an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator.

What they take on

The service menu is split into six named pages: Puppy Training, Private In-Home Dog Training, AKC Canine Good Citizens, Dog Anxiety Training, Dog Aggression Training and Dog Behavior Modification. The anxiety page describes desensitization and counter-conditioning as the tools used to bring a dog's stress down. The aggression page is framed around liability – the site puts it bluntly, that owning an aggressive dog is a serious risk, and offers a customized program rather than a class.

How it runs

The site sets out the sequence plainly. The first step is a free phone consultation with the owner of the business, who listens to the concerns and makes recommendations; that is followed by an on-site evaluation where he meets the dog in person and answers questions before any program is agreed.

The stated philosophy

The line the business leads with is that proper training is being consistent and fair-minded at all times, and that both dog and owner have to understand this – what it calls the true meaning of being a loving leader.
