About Alpha Mentality Dog Training & Ear Posting

What they offer

Alpha Mentality Dog Training is a balanced dog training business serving Downey, Norwalk, Bellflower, Paramount, Whittier, Lakewood, Pico Rivera, Cerritos, Santa Fe Springs, La Mirada and nearby cities. It also offers ear posting for breeds such as Dobermans, Schnauzers and Cane Corsos.

Training

Training is aimed at dogs struggling with reactivity, leash pulling, jumping, resource guarding, aggression or out-of-control behavior at home. Every dog starts with an individual assessment. Packages build from a foundational obedience program to advanced e-collar training, and a premium option brings the training directly to the owner with public outings near home. Owners are coached to keep the results going.

Training approach

The business combines positive reinforcement with what it calls fair correction, and runs an online community for owners who are not local or not ready to book.
