About Alpha One Canine Academy

What they offer

Alpha One Canine Academy is a Venice dog training business that uses balanced training techniques to build better relationships between owners and their dogs. Its main program is a customized board and train, offered under the California Working Dogs name, open to all breeds and levels from high-energy puppies to advanced dogs.

Board and train

During a stay each dog gets one to two training sessions a day, along with exercise, conditioning and socialization periods. Packages range from foundational behaviors, such as manners around people, other dogs and in the house, to more advanced work, and the program is designed to move faster than traditional weekly lessons.

Approach

The academy says it tailors methods to each dog's needs and personality and teaches owners how to keep the training going at home.
