About Armageddon Canine Prep

Armageddon Canine Services works from 1651 Rockaway Pkwy in Canarsie and offers canine training and boarding. Everything about the offering is published, including every price, which makes it one of the easiest practices in Brooklyn to compare against another.

Private sessions

Half-hour and hour-long one-to-one sessions. The first session assesses where the owner and dog are and recommends an approach; each session afterwards is customized to build progressively on the last. Single lesson pricing runs $75 for thirty minutes, $150 for an hour, $225 for ninety minutes and $300 for two hours. Packages are five thirty-minute sessions for $350, ten for $725, five hour-long sessions for $725 and ten for $1,450.

Puppy development

A dedicated program at $2,500, described as creating a mindset eager to learn and work, to jump-start the puppy's life and the relationship with the owner.

Group training, and why it comes second

Small group sessions are made available to clients only after they have completed a series of private sessions, at $100 for a thirty-minute session. The reasoning is stated: the point of the group setting is to proof specific obedience commands and behaviors under additional distraction. Sequencing it after private work is a defensible training decision rather than a limitation – a dog that cannot hold a behavior alone will not learn it surrounded by other dogs.

Board and train, in three tiers

The Basic package is a three-week program covering on-leash basic obedience at $3,750. The Advanced package is six weeks covering off-leash advanced obedience at $7,500. The Premium package is nine weeks, described as a 360-degree holistic approach to obedience plus environmental exposure and socialization, at $11,250. The stated aim across all three is a happy mindset toward obedience alongside better comprehension of commands and work on existing behavioral issues.

Boarding

Overnight boarding is $75 a night, with a $50 supplement for a pick-up service.
