Home-based training in Buffalo

B & B Dogs is a Buffalo dog trainer serving Buffalo, Maple Lake, Monticello and the greater Wright County area, specializing in private in-home lessons and board and train programs. Board and train dogs live in a real home, which the trainer sees as a natural, low-stress setting where behaviors transfer more easily to everyday life, and the number of dogs in training is intentionally limited.

Method

The approach is relationship-based and balanced, combining positive reinforcement with fair, consistent communication. Tools such as treats, toys, praise and training collars are used when appropriate, tailored to each dog, with the goal of building confidence and clarity and empowering owners to reinforce training at home.

The trainer

Trainer Laine began volunteering with rescue organizations in 2016, working with fearful and anxious dogs, gained experience in boarding and daycare, completed a trainer shadow program in 2021 and worked as a professional trainer under experienced mentors from 2022 to 2025. Her dogs Buddy, Buzz and Glo help in training.

Other services

Adventure Hikes offer structured trail hikes for exercise and enrichment, and boarding is available for existing clients, with follow-up support after training.
