About Bayside Pet Resort

A pet resort on South Tamiami Trail

Bayside Pet Resort's North Port location sits at 8800 S Tamiami Trail in Venice and serves families in North Port, Venice and Wellen Park. It combines dog boarding, daycare, grooming, cat boarding and training under one roof, with live webcams so owners can check in during the day.

Training options

Two training formats are offered. Private Dog Training gives one-on-one, focused attention built around a dog's individual needs and goals. Dog Day School is a structured program where dogs practice skills and positive behaviors during the day while attending the resort. Daycare adds supervised play, socialization and scheduled rest.

Boarding and hours

Boarding suites range from small Petite Suites for dogs 20 pounds and under to Promenade Suites with private lanais and online cameras. Dogs need current Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccinations. Hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm and weekends 8am to 4pm. Published rates include full-day daycare at $40 and boarding suites from $45 a night.
