About Bergland K9 Training LLC

Bergland K9 Training LLC is a single-trainer business in Lexington run by Karen, who writes on the site that client support let her go full-time with it in May 2025.

The programs

The published service list has four distinct shapes. Bergland Puppy Boarding School is residency in the trainer's own home, described as "your puppy lives and trains directly in my home for a complete, immersive, real-life experience". The Brigadoon Kennel Program is board and train run kennel-style. Private sessions are offered on a personalized plan. There is also an Alumni Refresher stay for dogs that have already been through a program, and boarding on its own at Brigadoon.

Classes and testing

A Puppy Manners and Obedience class covers AKC CGC and AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy. Separately the site lists "AKC CGC – Canine Good Citizen Testing", described as certified AKC CGC evaluation and testing, "because every good dog deserves an official title".

How to reach her

The site asks for text first on 336-250-6682, and notes the online booking system is still being set up. Contact information is published as Lexington, NC.

Who it’s best for

Best for a puppy owner who wants residency training in a home rather than a kennel, or an owner chasing a CGC title.
