About Big House K9 Training

What they offer

Big House K9 Training is a husband-and-wife positive reinforcement training team based in Casa Grande, serving Coolidge, Florence, Eloy, Arizona City, San Tan Valley and nearby communities. Every new client starts with a 90-minute initial evaluation at the training facility or in the home, which ends with a written training plan. Programs include puppy training, group classes in basic and intermediate obedience, private in-home training, a trainer-led Day School drop-off program on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Canine Good Citizen testing, temperament evaluations and online training resources.

How they train

The site says its programs follow LIMA, the least intrusive, minimally aversive standard, with no choke, prong or shock collars, and describe science-based, humane methods focused on practical skills and confidence.

Good to know

Service dog and therapy dog training is offered through a separate nonprofit organization the owners run; ask about it if that is your goal.
