About Big Oaks Kennel & Dog Park Co.

Big Oaks in Old Town Buda

Big Oaks Kennel & Dog Park Co. sits on six acres in the Heritage District of Old Town Buda, at 500 Loop Street, and is celebrating 25 years of boarding. Alongside training it offers boarding in three different facilities, doggy daycare, grooming and a dog park, and it keeps a crate-free policy for boarding, daycare and grooming guests. Dogs are evaluated and classed as green, yellow or red card for group play.

Training

Big Oaks says it builds companion dogs with a no-nonsense approach. Trainer and kennel manager Rachael Warnock has several years of professional training experience and teaches private classes for basic obedience or single issues. The first meeting to set a training agreement is free, and private classes then cost $100 per hour.

Group classes

Group Classes for Basic Obedience meet for one hour once a week for 4 weeks at the facility, for $200, with class size limited to 4-5 dogs. One private class with Rachael comes first. Call the office at 512-312-0235 for the next start date.
