About Canine Moxy

Owner education in Buda

Canine Moxy is a veteran-owned and operated dog training business in Buda that focuses on teaching owners to communicate clearly with their dogs, on the view that dogs learn fast and it is usually the human who needs the training. It credits itself with 17 years of experience and works with any breed, age, size or temperament, using short sessions of 3-5 minutes at a time.

Classes and lessons

New clients start with an Orientation group class, for humans only, covering how dogs learn, how behavior is modified, house breaking, potty training and crate training. Semi-private lessons let owners work through shared problems at a lower price than private lessons. Group socialization classes teach social boundaries and proper play, and group leash walking classes help with leash reactivity in the real world. Private lessons with Kris are available in your own home, and private online video coaching reaches owners anywhere for half the price of in-person sessions.

Snake avoidance

Canine Moxy runs venomous snake avoidance classes using live snakes and professional herpetologists, open to everyone.
