About Bolder Dog

What they offer

Bolder Dog offers private, one-on-one dog training in Boulder, Louisville, Lafayette and Erie. The trainer, Libby, says she knows first-hand how hard a high-energy, distractible and impulsive dog can be. For busy owners there is a day training program that starts with a conversation about the dog.

How they train

The home page describes a friendly positive-reinforcement approach and a Family Dog Mediation lens that looks at a dog's learning history, environment, genetics and self to understand why it behaves as it does. Solutions lean on meeting the individual dog's needs and adjusting its environment, with plenty of positive reinforcement.
