About Lazy Acres Dog Training
What they offer
Lazy Acres Dog Training is run by Rebecca Fedele, who says walking is her favorite way to train. Dogs start with structured walks, working individually first and joining the pack when ready; pack walks lead on to off-leash adventures.
One-on-one training
One-on-one sessions dive into leash work and relationship-based skills. The first session is two hours and covers structured walks and how to communicate with a dog through the leash, with possible work on long lines, place and recall; follow-up sessions are one hour.
Off-leash hikes
Once off-leash recall foundations are in place, dogs can graduate to off-leash hikes with the pack: three hours on dog-friendly trails in the Boulder County area, with pickup and drop-off included.
How they train
The about page describes slow, patient, hands-on work through a slip lead with gentle pressure, guidance and touch, and says force and expectations of quick results are left out. New clients start with a free phone consultation.
