About Buddy’s Dog School, Inc

What they offer

Buddy's Dog School is a dog training school at 18351 NE 23rd St in Harrah that also offers overnight boarding and runs a pet food and supply shop. Owners take its training classes in levels, and it runs a boarding school program; reviews on the site mention level 1 and 2 classes and a 4 week boarding school. It draws clients from Harrah, Choctaw, McLoud, Shawnee and Oklahoma City.

How they train

The school teaches owners the psychology of dogs and the reason for each exercise. It says it focuses on behavior first, addressing manners before obedience, and puts a big emphasis on teaching the dog verbal language to lay the foundation for an off-leash dog from the first class. It does not use food rewards.

Who trains

The About page tells the story of Stacey, the trainer, who started obedience training at 11 with her dog Buddy and went on to compete through the highest levels of AKC, ASCA and UKC obedience trials in Oklahoma and Texas.
