About Canine High School – k9HS

What they offer

Canine High School is a force-free puppy and dog training school in Long Beach that also runs an online school with live classes, self-paced courses and virtual behavior consulting. It serves Long Beach, Signal Hill, Naples Island and nearby areas in person.

Programs

Its in-person school programs combine training with managed socialization, enrichment, cooperative care, dog sports, pack walks and real-world outings, with pick-up and drop-off from the client's home. The Puppy School Program is for puppies from 16 weeks to a year old. Private training happens at the client's home, in a-la-carte sessions or packs of four, each mixing theory with hands-on work and homework.

Behavior help

The school works with reactive dogs and lists help for resource guarding, fear and leash aggression, aggression around dogs and people, and separation anxiety, using individualized plans and practical management.
