About Canine Kismet LLC
Canine Kismet takes its name from the idea of the dog that was simply meant to be in your life, and the three words at the top of the site set out the range: service, therapy, family members.
Who it serves
The school states plainly that size does not matter and breed does not matter, and asks owners to think outside the breed-standards box. The published goals it works toward are forming a bond with a new companion, strengthening an existing one, gaining assistance to live independently, or preparing a dog to enrich other people's lives.
Who runs it
Rebecca Klinger, who goes by Becki, came to training from a dog daycare facility where she had been a lodging supervisor and where, as she tells it, she learned that dogs needed to be understood and spoken for. She graduated from the Animal Behavior College Dog Training Program in 2015 and earned a certification as an Animal Behavior Consultant in 2017 through e-Trainingfordogs, a credential she notes fewer than forty people hold. She completed a bachelor's degree in Animal Science and Behavior at Unity Environmental College in 2024 and states that as of 2025 she is working toward a master's in the same field. She shares her home with a Pug-Chihuahua mix named Dahli and a Leonberger named Jude.
What is published
The site carries Classes, Consults and More, a Credentials page, testimonials, an impact page and a Project Trade page, plus a service animal explainer that quotes the legal definition of a service dog and the tasks such dogs perform. Ask where training takes place if it matters to you.
