About Dog Days of Buffalo – Genesee St.

The Genesee Street site is the newest of the three Dog Days of Buffalo locations, out by the airport in Cheektowaga, and the company announced it on the front page as recently opened.

Training at Dog Days

All three sites share one training program and one published schedule. Puppy Kindergarten runs six weeks for puppies up to six months, using positive reinforcement to teach sit, down, stay, leave it and drop it, and covering house training and play biting along the way. Basic Obedience picks up from there, and a Therapy Dog Prep class also appears on the schedule. Owners pre-register through the site.

Practicalities

Dogs over four months must have Bordetella, distemper/parvo and rabies on file, emailed to the front desk. The company describes its rooms as climate-controlled and separated for large dogs and for small or shy dogs, cleaned and inspected daily.

Cage-free daycare is the core business, with professional grooming and a pet sitting and transport service alongside it. Tours can be arranged at any time.
