About Fetch N’ Catch

Fetch n' Catch is one of the largest dog facilities in the Buffalo area, a 25,000 square foot campus on Transit Road in Bowmansville, and it has been going since 2012.

The training center

Training is a distinct arm of the business with its own center. The published options are Puppy Kindergarten, group classes covering Puppy Preschool and Basic Obedience, private lessons, AKC Canine Good Citizen testing, and board and train camps. One board and train tier includes a Mini Educator e-collar and remote, a place cot and a premium long line, and the site positions it for more challenging behavioral issues or for owners who want a more thorough result.

Who runs it

Cousins Dan and Mallory Poirier founded the business in 2012. The site says the team now numbers close to fifty canine professionals and describes a culture of positivity, accountability and continuous improvement. Staff are Pet CPR and First Aid certified and trained through the PackPro Dog Daycare Training System, a program the same owners developed and sell to other facilities.

Everything else

Daycare is the core: group play with indoor and outdoor space, pet turf, pools and shaded resting areas, under constant supervision. Boarding is offered with a staff member on site overnight, which the site notes is unusual in Buffalo. The grooming salon is described as award winning and offers full-service grooming, bathing and spa treatments. The company reports a 4.9-star rating and more than 5,000 pet parents served.

A note for shy dogs

The site is candid that large-group off-leash daycare does not suit every dog, and points those owners to its sister enrichment-daycare location two miles away on Genesee Street.
