About Central Dogs

Daycare, boarding and training in Boca Raton

Central Dogs is a luxury daycare and boarding resort at 73 SW 1st Ave in the heart of Boca Raton, with an on-site veterinary clinic, Central Animal Hospital. It describes itself as a local, family-focused pet resort, not a franchise, and says it brings over 20 years of experience in the pet care world, with a manager always on site or a phone call away.

Training

Training uses treats and positive reinforcement, starting with personalized behavior evaluations and spot training for specific behaviors. Topics include lift etiquette for high-rise living, condo and apartment manners, calm behavior around seniors, leash manners, behavior modification for aggression, fear or separation anxiety, polite greetings at the door, desensitization to noise and touch, environmental awareness around traffic and bicycles, social manners and car manners.

Other services

Daycare offers supervised play, socialization and enrichment, and boarding owners can watch their dogs on cameras around the clock. The resort also offers bathing and transportation to daycare, boarding and non-emergency vet visits.

What owners say

One client wrote that their rescue's trainer at Central Dogs made a difference "in the first 15 min" and also coached the owners on how to act and react.
