About K9 Gunner Tactical

Veteran-owned training in Boca Raton

K9 Gunner Tactical is a veteran-owned dog training business at Royal Palm Place, 100 Plaza Real South, Suite H, in Boca Raton. Its founder, owner and head trainer is Brady Foster, who became interested in working dogs while serving in the Marine Corps in Iraq, where he saw K9s detect explosives and insurgents. He later worked as an executive protection agent and fully trained his own dog, Gunner, before opening the business.

Approach

Brady says training begins with the relationship between owner and dog: a dog that trusts its owner and understands what is wanted will look to that owner for everything. The motto is "Build a Bond. Build Trust. Build Your Team." and the business works with any size, breed or problem, from reactivity on walks to obedience and fitness work.

Programs and prices

One-on-one sessions with the trainer are $200 each, or $750 for a five-session package. Boot camp programs are customized for each dog: one week for $1,800 (current clients or puppies under 6 months only), two weeks for $3,500, three weeks for $4,800 and four weeks for $6,000. Zoom training is $175 an hour or $750 for five sessions. Sessions and packages expire one year from purchase.

What owners say
