Full Potential K9 is a Boca Raton dog training business led by owner and head trainer Dillon Mitchell. It describes its style as rewards-based, using healthy and fair balanced practices: rewarding good behavior, and once a dog understands a behavior, the thoughtful and fair use of pressure and in some cases correction. It treats training as a two-sided equation, so teaching owners the same "language" the dog has learned is central to every program.

Programs

Every dog starts with an evaluation by Dillon, starting at $100. The full-immersion board and train lasts a three-week minimum, with the dog living with the trainers, training several times a day in private, group and off-location settings, and it has tracks for puppies, friendly but untrained dogs, service dogs and aggressive or fearful dogs. Day training runs Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm, with extended pickup until 5pm. Private lessons, starting at $100, take place at its Boca Raton location or at the owner's home within a limited radius, later moving to parks and beaches. Semi-private group sessions, starting at $40, meet Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings and afternoons at dog-friendly locations. A Puppy Head Start program is best started between 8 and 12 weeks of age.
