About Compassion For Canines

Compassion for Canines publishes through its Facebook page, where the business describes itself in a single line: “In-home/public access force-free positive reinforcement dog trainer that specializes on behavior modification.”

What that line establishes

Three things are stated there. The method is force-free positive reinforcement. The specialism is behavior modification. The delivery is in the client’s home and in public-access settings rather than at a facility – which is the right fit for a dog whose problems appear on walks, in shops or around other dogs rather than in a training hall.

What the page shows of the work

Recent posts describe reactive dogs progressing far enough to join open-play daycare, consistent with the reactivity and behavior focus the page states. The page carries 610 followers and a 100% recommendation rate across 17 reviews.

What to ask

Ask about prices and certifications. Its Facebook page gives its address as Downtown, Johnson City, while its business address is in Unicoi; since training is in-home, confirm the area it covers.
