Cultured Canines of Tampa is a positive reinforcement dog training business in Tampa founded by Heide Maglott, who cites more than 26 years of hands-on dog experience. Her credentials are AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, AKC Temperament Test Judge, Animal Behavior College Mentor Trainer and member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers. Her philosophy is "No Pain. No Force. No Fear.", and she teaches both ends of the leash while paying attention to the dog's emotional wellness.

Programs

The AKC Canine Good Citizen Prep and Therapy Dog group class is a 6-week, ten-skill course with public field trips, with testing and the official CGC ribbon included. One-on-one private training covers polite greetings, loose-leash walking, reactivity and confidence. In-home day training runs 2, 3 or 4 weeks while the owner is at work, with a weekly handoff lesson. Sanctuary Sessions are an in-home emotional wellness and enrichment program for anxious or reactive dogs. There are also guided community pack walks and live Zoom workshops, including Puppy Potty Training in 30 Minutes from $79.
