About Kyser K9 Dog Training

Home-based balanced training near Riverview

Kyser K9 Dog Training is a dog training business serving Riverview and the Tampa area, led by owner and lead trainer Shelby Kyser. Shelby describes herself as a balanced trainer who keeps up with training techniques, and says a safe and positive learning environment matters most to her, which is why all training is done in her home. She writes that she realized about 4-5 years ago that her lifelong passion for dogs could be a career.

Programs

Every client starts with a free meet and greet to decide which course suits dog and owner. The Residential Program, which the business calls the option most clients choose, suits busy owners, dogs that need structure and routine, and dogs with behavioral challenges. Private 1:1 lessons focus on the behaviors and goals that matter most to the owner. Advanced Obedience builds on a dog's foundation toward distraction-proof obedience. Group classes for socialization are open to dogs that have completed a residential program or 1:1 lessons. Overnight boarding and daycare are offered, along with behavioral modification and consultations. Chiara Kyser handles brand marketing and coordinates pack walks.
